A turning point occurred in 1985
when Mike committed his art to God
and made Him a promise. The work
shown here was done during that life
changing period of spiritual renewal.
That same period also produced an
unexpected "positive-enengy vision"
that Mike began researching,
developing, and applying to his art (an
ongoing practice he has continued to
this day), eventually calling it
positive-realism*.
Dedicated to the Lord from beginning
to end, this original one-of-a-kind
work was painted primarily from life
outside of the studio as well as from
photos taken by the artist.
