with Mr. Duncan and from
photographs taken by the
artist at Mr. Duncan's
residence, as well as from
an album of Duncan family
photos, and from a live
model posing for Mr.
Duncan in studio.. Mr.
Duncan commissioned
Mike to paint oil portraits
of his sons Buell, Jr. and
Parks upon their retirement
from SunBanks, Inc and
Merrill Lynch. Mike
designed this portrait to be
in harmony with those
portraits he painted of Mr.
Duncan's sons. Mike has
said that it was a joy
working with and being of
service to Mr Duncan and
his sons.
